What we store

truebid stores the minimum needed to run a public leaderboard: the URL you list, the name and description shown on the board, your bid amounts, click counts, and a hashed ownership key so you can edit or remove your own listing. All of it except the key is public on the board by design. We also keep an order record for each purchase: the amount, the listing it paid for, its status, and the payment reference from our payment provider.

Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Your email, billing details and card data are collected by them on their checkout page and are governed by their privacy policy. We never see or store card numbers, billing addresses or payment credentials, and we do not receive a copy of your email address for marketing.

No accounts, no tracking

There are no accounts, no cookies for advertising, and no analytics or advertising trackers. The only things stored in your browser are your listing ownership key and your light or dark theme choice. Visitor IPs are used transiently in server memory for rate limiting and the live visitor counter and are never written to the database.

Retention and removal

Listing data stays until you remove it. Order records are kept while required for tax and accounting purposes. To remove your listing and its data, use the remove button in the site footer from the browser that listed it, or email us from the address below with your listing URL.
