Terms of Service

Last updated 25 August 2026. By listing a product or buying a sponsored slot you agree to these terms.

1. What we sell

truebid sells advertising placement on its own website: a listing on the public board at the rank your bid earns, and 24-hour sponsored slots beside the board. We sell only our own placement. We are not a marketplace, we do not sell anyone else's products, and we never collect or forward money on behalf of a third party.

Your rank is determined by your highest bid and can change at any time as other people bid. That volatility is the product, not a defect. Your listing stays on the board at whatever position your bid earns.

2. Payment

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for every purchase on truebid. They process the payment, issue your receipt, and calculate and remit any applicable tax. The charge on your statement comes from Dodo Payments. We never see or store your card details.

All prices are one-time payments in US dollars, listed on the pricing page. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews. Placement is delivered automatically as soon as the payment is confirmed.

3. Refunds

If a payment completes but the placement cannot be delivered, we refund it in full automatically. Other refunds, and what is not refundable, are set out in the refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms. Email us before opening a payment dispute: a refunded or disputed payment also removes the placement it paid for.

4. What you may list

You confirm that you own the product you list, or are authorised to promote it, and that the name and description you submit are accurate and not misleading. The rules list what is not allowed on the board.

We may remove any listing that breaks those rules, or that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, adult or abusive, without refund, and we may decline any listing at our discretion to keep the board useful.

5. Third-party sites

The board links out to websites we do not operate. Listings are paid placement, not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the content, products or claims of any listed site.

6. Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties. We do not promise any particular amount of traffic, clicks or exposure. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.

7. Changes and contact
