Rules & Guidelines

To keep the board fair, competitive and worth reading, here is exactly how truebid works.

1. How ranking works

• truebid is a public leaderboard. Your rank is the total paid on your URL and nothing else.
• Bids are whole US dollars. The minimum to get on the board is $1.
• Bidding less than #1 still lists you, at whatever rank your total earns.
• On a tie, the product listed first keeps seniority and ranks higher.
• Already listed? Pay only the difference. At $5 and want to reach $8, you pay $3. Bids on a URL add up, they do not replace each other.
• Every payment counts toward your total, so a payment can never be wasted, even if somebody raises while yours is going through.
• Nothing here is a game of chance. The amount you pay decides the position, and you can see every other bid before you pay.

2. What you can list

• Product websites, startup landing pages and portfolios you own or are authorised to promote.
• No chat or invite links: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and similar are rejected automatically.
• Each unique URL can be listed once. Tracking parameters are stripped so variations of one URL count as one listing.
• Your name and description must describe the product honestly. No bait, no fake claims, no impersonating another brand.

3. What is banned from the board

These are removed without refund, and the payment that bought the placement may be refunded and the listing deleted at our discretion:

• Adult, sexual or NSFW content of any kind.
• Gambling, betting, lotteries and games of chance.
• Cryptocurrency trading, token sales, NFT projects and financial advice.
• Piracy, cracked software, unauthorised streaming or IPTV, and anything infringing someone else's rights.
• Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, prescription medicines, weapons, and content promoting violence or hate.
• Spam, scraping, mass outreach, fake engagement, follower and review selling.
• Cheating tools, exam and hiring fraud, proxy or cloaking services built to bypass platform limits.
• Malware, phishing, surveillance or stalkerware, and anything that harvests people's data without consent.
• Dating and social matching platforms, and paid spiritual or medical advice.
• Get-rich-quick offers, MLM recruitment, and unverifiable health or income claims.

4. Payments

• A completed payment is what claims your rank, instantly.
• One-time payments in US dollars. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
• Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and appears on your statement.
• If your payment lands but the placement cannot be delivered, it is refunded in full automatically. See the refund policy.
• A rank drop because someone bid higher is not a refundable fault. That is the board working as described.
• The site currently runs in demo mode: claims settle instantly and nothing is charged.
